
Ireland's largest independent Temperature Control and Logistics company, Castlecool has won a Deloitte Best Managed Companies award 2010, placing it as one of the top 20 companies in the country. Internationally recognised, this award is a symbol of excellence for outstanding business performance by a private Irish company on the island of Ireland.
Castlecools' operations are in Louth and Monaghan at three sites, Dundalk, Castleblayney and Lough Egish.
Founded and managed by Paul Shortt, the company has also recently been awarded first prize at the Small Firms Association (SFA) National Business awards in the Services category. The company was also nominated in the SFA awards Environmental Sustainability category.
Employing 50 people, Castlecool has been in operation for 15 years and has gained a reputation for reliability and expertise in the field of Temperature Control Warehousing and Logistics. It has a solid client base comprising of major local, allisland and international food processing companies.
